Studio DAG Agency

a story of rebirth. a family story

Its history begins more than a hundred years ago. A whole other world.

Luigi Galimberti abandons the family pharmacy and opens a distillery in Vimercate, in the province of Milan.

Passionate about liqueurs, he creates different blends that he will also export abroad, receiving several awards, including from the King of Italy.

In 1916, during the Great War, Luigi found himself fighting on the Austrian front.

He was wounded in battle on Mount Hermada, not long before the tragedy of Caporetto.

On his return home, he will name his daughter after that mountain, in memory of the near death.

Luigi then died in 1949 and the distillery, unfortunately, was closed definitively about twenty years later.

Everything is silent until 2021, when his nephew Alberto decides to take up the old recipes and update them to the present, entrusting the "rebranding" work to Studio DAG Agency, a marketing and communication agency in Vimercate, like the founder Luigi himself.

Two bitters come back to life in a new guise. The name could only be that: Hermada.

A story of rebirth, a family story: Dolce Amaro Hermada, Antica Distilleria Galimberti.
